Brand New Comfy Cushions for our Hard Metal Chairs!
WE APPRECIATE YOU!
Sending a big THANK YOU to our July (inside) picnic goers. We raised $685 from the dessert auction and cash donations. This covered the full cost of new seat cushions for our metal folding chairs, with money left over to help fund our effort to digitize photographs.

Martha Glass Russell (left) is thrilled to be the 2025 raffle winner, and we're excited to tell this story. Pat McGranahan (right) donated a beautiful quilt hand-sewn by her mother, and this quilt helped us raise a record $5,377. We count on our annual raffle to fund a large portion of our operating expenses. That’s a lot of pressure on one quilt!
First, be assured that the raffle wasn’t rigged! But… Martha and Pat go way back to grade school, and they both graduated in 1953 from Raytown High School. Even though Pat drew the winning ticket from the hopper, everything was on the up and up.
